A Leader In Manufacturing Technology

As part of our commitment to quality, Lyons continually searches for improved processing techniques and innovative packaging solutions. For example, Lyons was the first company to pack fruits in the #10 tin and later pioneered the development of aseptic processing with fruit particulates in flexible packaging. More recently, we pioneered the first large diameter tubular aseptic system, installed and operated the first aseptic plastic bottle filler in the United States, and installed and operated the first large format Combibloc aseptic fillers for packages over 33.8 ozs. In addition, we have created a number of process innovations including a system of in-process flavor injection, pre-process stream blending, and forced air freezing and thawing of frozen finished goods and raw materials.

The cornerstone of our current manufacturing capabilities is a state of the art plant in Fresno, California. This one million plus square foot facility was designed by Lyons' own team of engineers to meet our exacting standards for efficiency and product quality. We also operate a manufacturing and distribution facility in Walton, Kentucky to facilitate service to our customers east of the Mississippi.
